Until I went to check out the Bhutan exhibit at the Asian Art Museum, I wasn’t really sure I knew where Bhutan was located. It turns out it is nestled in the center of the Asian continent bordered by Tibet and India. While in Park City, we met some lady who told us about the Bhutan exhibit that was coming to San Francisco and recommended that we check it out.
Having only been to the museum once a long time ago, it was actually nice to pay a return visit especially when you can get in for free. It pays to know employees of corporate sponsors. 😉 The museum itself is very nice offering lots of lights and new and modern feel. The exhibit was interesting. I learned a lot about the different buddhas. Who knew there were so many! It was a pretty enlightening excursion and I truly felt a little more cultured coming out of it. *chuckle* =)
